The calculate shot distance feature is most likely the easiest feature to use on the GPS Golf Buddy Pro. Just hold down one of the buttons on the side of the unit for two seconds, then as you move, the distance to target it will change in real time.
The intelligent green function will show you the shape of the green from where your standing, and all measurements to the front and sides of the green will change accordingly.
The rechargeable battery is rated at over 14 hours. This should allow you, easily 2 rounds of golf under the one charge. If the battery does run down on you, then you can use ordinary alkaline batteries as backup.
The monochrome display is very easy to read in bright and dark lighting conditions.
Downloading new courses is easy with the GPS Golf Buddy Pro. It has its own course manager software that allows you to download all new and modified courses for any country with a few clicks of the buttons.
